Common Questions.
Quick answers about picking the right service for your job. Anything we missed? Send a sketch and we’ll get back the same day.
Talk to a FabricatorSend your drawing or sketch — we'll tell you. Most parts need 2 or 3 services in sequence (cut → bend → weld is the most common). When you upload a CAD file we map the operations and flag which features go to which machine. The DFM review at quote time covers process selection.
No minimum order on any service. Single prototypes are welcome. The same TRUMPF L3050 cuts your one-off and your 10,000-piece production run with the same tolerances and edge quality — tooling cost is zero, programming is included.
Yes. Custom metal fabrication is most of what we do. Cut, bend, weld, machine, finish — all under one roof in our 12,000 sq ft Brampton shop. A single PO covers the entire job, and tolerances stay tight because the same fabricator owns the part from quote to dispatch.
On every quote, free of charge. We flag features that won't manufacture cleanly (small holes in thick material, tight bend radii, weld accessibility issues), suggest alternatives, and explain cost trade-offs before any cuts are made. Better to fix it on the screen than at the laser.
Mild steel up to 1" (laser cut, bend up to 130 tons), stainless 304/316 up to .75", aluminum 6061/5052 up to .5", galvanized, brass, copper, spring steel, pre-painted stock. Welding handles all of the above plus structural mild steel up to 1". Send your specs and we'll confirm feasibility.
Same day if your CAD lands by 2 PM — the quote goes out by 5 PM. Most jobs ship within 5 working days; complex multi-process assemblies in 1–2 weeks. Rush options (48–72 hours) available for premium and surcharged transparently in the quote.
DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES, SolidWorks part files, and PDF. Hand sketches with dimensions are fine — we'll CAD it for you and send back for approval before cutting. We work with what you have.
Powder coat and paint coordinated through our finishing partners — same PO, same shipment to your dock. Plating, anodizing, and specialty finishes through trusted vendors with documented quality systems. We manage the schedule; you see one delivery, one quote.
Tell Us About the Job.
Send a CAD file or a hand sketch. You’ll have a quote the same day, work on the schedule the same week, and parts on your dock in 1–2 weeks.
